Here’s How You’re Gonna Get Rich… According to your Zodiac Sign!

Money, money, money!

Whether we like it or not, it’s what makes this modern world go round, yet the large majority of us couldn’t claim to have a good grip on our personal finances.

What’s YOUR relationship with money?

Money should be a tool of empowerment, right? But a lot of folks unconsciously resist becoming rich (however much they consciously desire it), their financial fictions weaved thick and tangled by money stories they don’t even understand. Some beliefs around wealth stem from past lives (for thousands of years, many of the richest people were also the least compassionate of all – anyone still holding onto that old story that “wealthy people are mean people”?). Many more perspectives we inherit from our parents (to make more, you’ve gotta work harder – and you wonder why the idea of passive income makes you feel guilty?)

It’s a deep dive to get to the roots of some of these false-flags that stand between us and our potential wealth… but one small way to begin unraveling your own financial fairytale is to look to the skies! Your Sun sign makes an excellent starting point, because it describes your main motivation in life. Aries (March 21 – April 19)

Aries, the go-getting, foolhardy sign of the ram isn’t one to do things the conventional way. Your bank account balance tends to bounce all over the place as you’re driven by impulse, so your route to riches is also likely to be full of surprises!

As someone who’s highly competitive by nature, your inner fire keeps you focused and aiming high, but it’s the monotony of the daily grind you just can’t bear – the kind of 9 to 5 lifestyle that may suit many people, just won’t cut it for you. Instead, a fast-paced, challenging career that keeps you engaged is ultimately where you’ll find financial freedom.

Self-employment, entrepreneurship, and daring investments could all be places where you shine and the cash rolls in, since you’re a sign with the flare and courage to take a risk where few others will.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus, the loyal, dedicated sign of the bull is a natural hard-worker and an even more natural earner. Known the zodiac through as being the most abundant of the signs, you’re a potential money magnet! But… you can be loyal to a fault. Sticking with an employer, even when you’ve outgrown your position and pay packet, just because you feel an obligation could be your Taurean downfall.

Less likely to strike out into the great unknown than some of the other signs, you’re a slow-and-steady-wins-the-race kinda gal (or guy). Setting a goal and working steadily towards it is your route to getting rich. Taurus is also good at saving your cash when you need to –  despite a love of the finer things, you don’t mind tightening that belt, and feel all the better knowing you have a nest egg in the bank. That abundance of earth energy you hold means that a great way for you to get rich could be via real estate investments and the passive income of rent.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini, the mercurial sign of the Twins is both optimistic and quick-on-your-feet, which means you’re never one to let an opportunity pass you by. With such wide and varied interests, you’re a Zodiac sign that likely switches jobs often. The potential harm to your finances in the short term doesn’t really feature – if anyone can bounce back, it’s a Gemini! With such dynamism and enthusiasm, you’ll always have another lucrative scheme up your sleeve, so you’ll rarely find yourself in a serious pinch.

Ultimately, you’ll hit the rich times when you invest in multiple streams of income, doing anything and everything that looks like it could turn a profit. And collaboration is key.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancer -the sign of the Crab is all about establishing financial security and providing for you and your family. It’s not that you want the money – being rich isn’t in your life plan – it’s what it symbolizes.

Yours is one of the most adept signs of the Zodiac when it comes to saving hard and building up a nest egg; knowing you have a something to fall back on when that rainy day arrives simply allows you to relax and enjoy what you have.

Investing in real estate and creating and holding spaces for others – in the form of accommodation which is let for rent – could be your route to riches. But whatever you do for cash-flow, your number one navigation system should always be your intuition. Your heart will always steer you well, helping you avoid overly risky ventures in favor of ones that are safer and more promising.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Leo – the sign of the Lion, has the potential to get rich and stay rich. Your relationship with money is closely tied to love, creativity and leadership. Being competitive, ambitious and driven to earn a good living means that the cash should follow with ease whatever you’re doing, as long as it’s heart-driven. Others look to you as a leader, so if you position yourself at the head of an organization you care about, financial freedom will follow.

BUT, your taste for luxury and a penchant for buying unexpected treats for loved ones means that unless the cash is coming in quick enough, you’ll quickly whittle down the reserves. But if you make these purchases investments – like gold, antiques and fine jewelry –  you could also enjoy them as creative strategies that pay off over the long term.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

Virgo – the sign of the virgin (or maiden) is naturally practical, cautious and hardworking, and you tend to take a similar approach to your finances.

You’re the sign most likely to get a lowly-paid job and still put your heart and soul into it… which is never going to make you a millionaire (and maybe you don’t really want that anyway?). But what will help you get rich, is the way you build up your savings and investments. Sure, it’s not the most glamorous route to the top but with proper research and sound strategies that promise to pay off over the long term, there’s no reason you won’t get wealthy.

Don’t be afraid to take the occasional risk, however. Knowing you, you’ll still make an excellent choice based on extensive and detailed calculations.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Libra – the sign of the scales is all about finding balance.

You work best in partnerships, and this is your route to wealth – too much responsibility without someone to bounce ideas around with and receive that all important reassurance from, could be a road to ruin instead. And you should also consider hiring a trustworthy financial advisor who can steer you toward lucrative opportunities you may not trust yourself to make alone.

You may need to curb those spending habits which are likely virtually invisible to you on a day to day basis – as a lover of artwork, fine food, stylish clothing, and accessories, you also especially enjoy treating yourself and your friends whenever the feeling takes you.

BUT… there are ways to combine your love of finary with your need for financial freedom. Making money online through social media as an influencer is just one role that has opened up in recent years, enabling people just like you to do what you love… and get paid for sharing it!

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio, the sign of Scorpion is all about building up your financial profile by following your sharp instincts. Furthermore, money tends to come easily for you, since your sign is associated with inheritances and other windfalls – you’re the kind of kanny individual who makes cash appear as if from thin air!

As a born negotiator, you’re less about the hustle and more likely to be waiting patiently until it’s just the right time to make your move, which will always be highly strategized. The non-conforming, unconventional routes are great ways for you to find hidden wealth, so don’t fall into the trap of thinking you need to do what everyone else is doing to get rich.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius, the sign of the archer is ruled by Jupiter, the planet of luck. So these fortune-favored folks are rarely without what they need. BUT in terms of getting rich… the money will flow only when you’re not pinned down earning it.

With such a footloose demeanor, Sagittarius is the classic digital nomad – making money whilst traveling the world, with only a laptop, wifi connection and social media account required! Work and/or an employer which allows you to go where you want when you want is how you’ll create a life into which wealth can flow. If your energy feels hemmed in, so is your money potential.

You’ll likely switch jobs a lot, especially when you’re younger, so working your way up the career ladder may take too much time for your liking, as you come and go with ease, probably at the expense of your financial profile. But your inherent trust that the Universe will provide means you’ll never go without. Quick on your feet, it’s easy for you to bounce back from financial setbacks — and you’re often correct in assuming that the cash will be there for you when you need it

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn, the sign of the sea goat, is ambitious, competitive and supremely hard-working. Of all the Zodiac signs, you’re the one most likely to make your millions climbing that career ladder. Whilst others lose interest halfway up, you’ve got the tenacity to keep on going, and it’ll pay off. When you finally get to the top, the views are spectacular (and so is your bank balance!)

Plus with your level head and far-flung foresight, you’ll easily double your dollars by investing wisely. Long-term investments, that is- you’re not put off by the idea of tucking away your riches, untouched for decades.

Not one to make frivolous impulse buys, or place great importance on personal pleasures like new clothes or eating out, saving’s the game. You do enjoy spending your money on items that reflect your success, such as a status car or high-ticket items for your home, but again, they’re usually investment pieces.

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius, the sign of the Water Bearer will make its millions through service to the collective. Unless you’re doing something you believe in, your life is unlikely to align with the money you desire (so release that out-dated belief that working for non-profits can’t make you rich! It may not be the driving force, but if anyone’s here to shake up the system, it’s you, Aquarius!)

Of course, you tend to donate a good portion of your hard-earned money to charities or causes you believe in. It’s hard for you to watch other people living in poverty while you live in comfort, so looking at ethical investments could be a more lucrative move. Unique, inventive strategies that others might think are too risky or just plain out-there are also likely to attract the Aquarian mind, as will thinking small and local – investing in your friend’s start-up company or a new zero-waste organic cafe around the corner are right up your street!

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces, the sign of the Fish, isn’t known for its practicality when it comes to finances, so pursuing a high-income career’s probably not on the cards for you.

Your focus tends to lie in the spiritual and/or creative realms where it’s notoriously harder to create financial wealth. But… times are a changing! With so many easy ways to express yourself, help and heal people and get paid for it, you Piscean folk have no excuse not to get out there and get as rich as anybody else!

Getting somebody else to help with the nuts-and-bolts of setting up an online business, whilst you work part-time (for example) would be a good way to get off the ground – once the systems are in place, Pisces have no problem infusing them with magic!

Your overall relationship with money can tend to be a little loose and unrealistic (like burying your head in the sand ostrich-style when it comes to consumer debt). So working closely with an accountant or financial advisor that you trust will help build up those pennies.
